Fast food, fried food also some bakery products contains high amount of trans fat that won't let you lose your belly fat, because they will accumulate fat in your body, firstly at your abdominal area.

Alcohol: alcohol produces fat in the body. Person who drink alcohol, always has a high amount of abdominal fat. If you drink alcohol you must have belly fat and your all efforts will go in vain.

Any hormonal problem: Sometimes hormonal problem can be a cause of your inability of losing belly fat. Estrogen, insulin and cortisol are responsible for your fat accumulation in the body. Imbalance of this hormone can be a cause of belly fat.

Stress: During stress, your body produces more stress hormone "cortisol". Cortisol accumulates fats in the body, especially abdominal region. So if you want to lose your belly fat, try to be stress free, try to do some yoga, meditation etc. and try to sleep properly. Lack of sleep also causes your belly fat.

To lose your stubborn belly fat you must follow an ideal diet that is fat free especially trans-fat, high in fiber, sugar free, high in protein. You must exercise that can create pressure on your abdominal area and burn your fat. If you are doing exercise already then you must ensure that you are doing it in the right way.
